Please note that each preset will act as a starting point for your edits unless they are perfectly exposed, and colour balanced from the start. However, they will speed up your workflow, A LOT. And they will give you that editorial style you’re after for your portrait, lifestyle, and fashion work.

You can also learn a lot and improve your editing by checking the settings I use on each preset to better understand my workflow and how Lightroom works.

Remember that every preset should be used as a foundation to work off. You will have to fine-tune certain settings, like exposure, white balance, shadows, whites, and blacks under the 'Basic' panel to get your desired look. With that being said, I include in this pack a Lightroom video-tutorial where I will show you exactly how to play with the adjustments to make sure each preset adapts well to your pictures.

In which format are they?

They are in .XMP which is the newer and best-optimised format for presets. They are compatible with all desktop versions of Lightroom from the version 7.3 onwards.

How do I install them?

There is a user guide included with the purchase. But it’s very simple. You just have to go to the Presets module in Lightroom, click the “+” button and select “Import Presets”. Select the .XMP files and happy editing!

Can I use them on my phone?

Yes. You have to install them in the desktop version of the Lightroom App. Go to File > Import Presets and select the .XMP files.

However, if you are looking for optimised .DNG files to use on the phone right away (without having to own Adobe Creative Cloud or use the desktop version), I recommend you to get this optimised pack for Lightroom Mobile. You will be able to use them even on the free version of Lightroom in your phone!
